Short Story to Novel Workshop

Faculty Lounge by Jennifer Mathieu, this year's Gulf Coast Reads (www.gulfcoastreads.org) selection, actually began as a collection of linked short stories before becoming a novel. Join us for a writing workshop for writers at any experience level. Prior to the event, write a character sketch of any length, even just a paragraph or two. As a group, we'll explore ways to weave them into a larger, interconnected narrative as the author did in Faculty Lounge. This even takes place at Pasadena Central Library, 1201 Jeff Ginn Memorial Dr. in Pasadena, TX.
